Swap
Once the port clears, we finish activation, swap SIMs, and test voice, text, data, voicemail, and Wi-Fi calling.
Verify
We make test calls to confirm everyone can reach you, then show you how to update auto-pay and account credentials.
Number Porting FAQ
How long does a port take?
Local wireless ports usually complete in 15–60 minutes. Landline or VoIP numbers can take 24–48 hours. We’ll keep you updated the entire time.
Will I lose service during the port?
No. You’ll stay on your old carrier until the new SIM is activated. We coordinate the cutover so there’s minimal downtime.
Can you port business or fax numbers?
Yes, as long as the billing owner authorizes the transfer. Some fax or alarm lines may require special handling—we’ll guide you.
What if the port gets rejected?
We troubleshoot errors like incorrect account number or PIN, resubmit the request, and stay on the phone with the carrier until it clears.
Can I cancel the port?
Once the old carrier releases the number, it can’t be reversed. We’ll confirm everything with you before final submission.
Ready to move your number?
Call or text so we can prep your paperwork. Bring your current account credentials and we’ll handle the rest.
